About This Place

Welcome to the vibrant culinary landscape of Pontianak, where one gem stands out among the crowd: Nasi Goreng Iin. Nestled conveniently on Jl. Johar No.65, this Nasi Goreng restaurant has captured the hearts and appetites of locals and visitors alike. Known for its unique take on the beloved fried rice dish, Nasi Goreng Iin is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Indonesian culinary experience.

What sets Nasi Goreng Iin apart is not only its secret recipe but also its dedication to quality. Customers rave about the delicious flavors that evoke a sense of comfort and nostalgia. As Vito Yin aptly notes, the dish's unique flavor profile leaves a lasting impression, making it a top choice for fried rice enthusiasts.

However, not all reviews are without critique. Some patrons have mentioned that the portions can be on the smaller side, while others, like Jason Tanru, found the taste occasionally a tad salty. Yet, in the hustle and bustle of Pontianak, this renowned eatery has built a reputation that keeps customers returning for more.

Rizki Huslapini Kurniawan calls it the “best in town,” praising its authentic recipe that strikes a perfect balance between savory and spicy. The delightful combination of shredded chicken, bean sprouts, and cucumbers creates a refreshing contrast, particularly when drizzled with the sambal made available on every table for those who crave an extra kick.

Che Sheila particularly highlights the distinctive smoky aroma achieved by cooking their fried rice in large woks over high heat. This technique adds depth to the flavors, making each bite a memorable experience. The absence of traditional accompaniments like egg and kerupuk allows the core ingredients to shine through, creating a dish that is both unique and comforting.

While the restaurant may feel a bit cramped during peak hours, its charm lies in the lively atmosphere, reflecting the vibrant culture of Indonesia. Despite varying opinions on portion size and taste, the shared love for Nasi Goreng Iin is palpable among the patrons.

In summary, Nasi Goreng Iin is a culinary treasure in Pontianak that offers an authentic and delicious twist on a classic dish. Whether you are a local or a traveler, make sure to stop by and indulge in its smoky, flavorful fried rice that promises to take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey.

Other than the small size, the secret recipe could be an unique flavour and it was quite delish, I'd must say.

It's pretty well known in Pontianak for their fried rice, had mine a little bit too salty, but still enjoyed it. The place is kinda too crampy at crowded times, and not a place you go for a hangout

My favourite Nasi Goreng,.. Best in town, with authentic recipe, and little bit spicy,... You must try, when you come to pontianak... Enjoy it..

Best Nasi Goreng in Town. Not your typical Nasgor since they didnt include egg and kerupuk (available as add- on). The Nasi Goreng topping were only shredded chicken, bean sprouts, and cucumber. Kinda oily and they didnt use kecap. If you like it spicy, there are sambal on each table. What makes it special is the smoky aroma from the burnt rice and seasonings in the wok. They cook several portion in a very large hot wok so they can serve you quickly.

The place was quite easy to find The parking lot was wide enough The menu in this restaurant was fried rice. The portion was quite big for me, the taste was just so so The staff was The price was 16 k for fried rice and fried egg

one of the best if not the best madurese style fried rice in pontianak. I don't think the other could rival iin's consistency. we don't have to wait for long. always deliver the taste that we want. never fail, not even once, well at least for me. ever since i have visited this place from years ago until nowadays, the taste is always the same. so i wouldn't get any disappointment if i go to this place to eat alone or with my family. the bad side of it is just full of smoker. not the place fault, it's just the smoker, they lack brain. whenever they finished their food, the first thing they reach is their cigarettes. sadly, nobody in iin remind them that this place is for eating, not for smoking.
